The Foundation's Accomplishments:

2001
The New Orleans Musical Legends Foundation was established.
Conducted a successful Al Hirt Week and raised $20,000 for the Park.
Inducted Al Hirt and erected a stature of him in the Park.
Generated community awareness involvement, and support for the resurrection of the Park (formerly Edison Place).
Provided a clean and safe space for the community and tourists to enjoy in the French Quarter with financial support from the City of New Orleans, the New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corporation, donations from citizens and special fundraising events.

2002
Pete Fountain inducted
Successful ongoing fundraising events for Park maintenance, security and public restrooms.

2003
Fats Domino inducted.
Pete Fountain's statue erected.

2004
New inductees invited: Allen Toussaint, Irma Thomas, and Chris Owens
"Fats" Domino statue erected.

2005
Cafe Beignet opened for business.
Educational kiosk being developed.

2006
Chris Owens statue erected.

Ronnie Kole Inducted
