Our Mission:
To develop and maintain the New Orleans Musical Legends Park that proudly displays the rich cultural and musical heritage of New Orleans, educates and stimulates pride in the citizens of the Greater New Orleans area and the State of Louisiana, provides an educational venue for students in three New Orleans public schools, energizes economic development and tourism at a major entrance into the French Quarter, and revives the first four blocks of the Canal/Bourbon corridor.
The Park serves as a vehicle to energize economic development and encourage thriving businesses in the first four blocks of the Canal/Bourbon corridor, a major entrance to the French Quarter. It also creates another Historical Tourist Destination that enhances the the city's Tourism Industry and creates a much needed green space in the heart of the French Quarter. This park also provides a venue for providing additional music education and performance opportunity for our school children"
